Yeah, that flexibility was one of the things I liked about TAR. It was so open. Gambles paid off. I miss the days of haranging the airline employees at random offices to get tickets

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yeah, I agree with that assessment. I can see how the producers would want to control the risk, but I think it was so much more interesting when those were decisions available to be made and mistakes mattered.

Dana reported in Natter that the first season of ANTM is being rerun on Oxygen on Sunday, for those who want some Adrienne/Elyse goodness. Some "paaaaasion", some Shannon, some holier than thou bible thumping, etc etc. See how it all began!

Me too, except it wasn't meara's fault.

I liked it way more than I thought I would, although Tyra is really not a good host. And the bow tie thing is whack. I liked many of the challenges though. I wish we could see more of the photos.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Tyra is an awful host. It is liek she is successful in spite of herself.

Well, I'm comparing her to Cat Deeley. And Phil. So she really didn't have a chance.

and for a show that I really do not like watching DWtS host, Tom Bergeron is very very good as a live host.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I can't believe Tom Bergeron continues to be nationally successful like he does -- I remember watching him on a local Boston show when I was a kid!

He hosts America's Funniest Home videos, too, and he's pretty good there also. I seem to remember him from Boston TV when I was a kid as well. (Along with Liz Warner and Bob Lobel and Jorge Quiroga.)
