I swear I'm starting to miss the days when people got behind because they wouldn't cut their hair or because their ox was broken over leaving a challenge without your passport or your shoes. I'm sorry, I just can't get past the shoe thing. How on earth do you not go "hang on, I just gotta grab my shoes"? And then you go back to your bag for your shoes and you have time to think "hey, I wonder maybe should we just bring all this stuff along, since I'm right here and all?" and presto! problem solved.

Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
because their ox was broken
That will NEVER not be funny.
"hang on, I just gotta grab my shoes"?
Well, they weren't the first team to leave their shoes behind. Wasn't it just last season with frat dudes and the cow costume?
That will NEVER not be funny.
Miss Alli's recap of that ep has got to be the funniest thing I've read on TWOP, and in the top ten things I've ever seen in the internet.
Wasn't it just last season with frat dudes and the cow costume?
Even they weren't barefoot though.
I love the Detour in this episode. Margie was amazing. And as she said, being a nurse really helped her in finding the right piece for the perfect smile. I actually felt quite sick when I was on location. I definitely would have gone with the karaoke. I don't know how a dentist goes digging around in people's mouths. This was definitely Margie's leg. Obviously Luke was right there with her, but she was driving the team this week. From the propellers to the dentures, she had her A game on. By the way, all of us on the show thought the dentures were going to take quite a while to complete, but Margie flew through that challenge. She was reaching into the locals' mouths without hesitation. I would say she probably finished that in about 5 minutes. They were on a mission this week.
I'm currently watching the makeover episode of ANTM during the Caridee cycle. Fun drama.
Hah! I'm watching it too, Dana--I turned it on during the picking the models section and got so confused when both CariDee and Jaslene were in the top 21. I'd forgotten Jaslene got rejected and came back again another cycle.
I love the twins. Sniff.
I'm not sure anything beats whatever cycle it was that had Cassandra, the pageant chick who freaked out about getting her hair cut off.
I still have not seen Season 1 of ANTM, even with the multitude of marathons I have been sucked into.
