Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I think the best part of AI tonight was seeing Frankie Avalon come out and serenade Simon. Hee. Kelly Pickler can go home and stay home. I about fell asleep during her song.

Poor Scott is gone. Liked the guy, but he's just not professional material. Now, on to Anoop! Say buh-bye. I hope.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

OMG, I am watching last night's AI ep and they sound like ASS. Like 4 of them can sing. The rest are completely out of tune.

Last night's MMaSupermodel: Sooo glad to see Gabriel gone! Man, that guy had no expression other than "sulk." It was obvious that the judges decided it was his turn long before the final decision was made; it was just a matter of who else was going to be in the bottom two. Nice to see Brandon get brought down a peg--his expression went from "yeah, I did good!" to "WTF???" in such an amusing way.

I think both Laury and Colin are not long for this competition, though--they've been skating along in the safe middle zone, and unless they both step it up, they'll be outta there. Next week's double-elim round will take care of any coasters and playing-it-safe people.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I really hope Branden hits the right middle ground -- I'm a little afraid his confidence will be shattered for a bit. Poor bunny.

Yeah, Gabriel was pretty, but never managed...facial expression. And Laury, I have not understood why they keep her around. I don't see anything in her. Though I'm not big on Amanda either.

Oh, you know what I've meant to say about MMaSM? I am really liking Perou! He's having a good time, and says some good stuff. For one, I liked that he acknowledged that Salome has the best body for a person, even though that's not the best body for a model. Or, I should say, the body that people hiring models are looking for.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

it is a shame too, because she clearly isn't fat, but those who hire models are looking for EXTRA EXTRA skinny.

Yeah, I would think she would have the better body to show clothes on (being, you know, an actual body), but that is not how the industry works. This decade.

In related model thing, I was shocked when London on ANTM won the jeans and then said she couldn't fit any of them and had to give them away. I was like wait, is she big? Has she gained weight? Is this going to be an ISSUE in upcoming episodes?

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Seemingly London has gained some weight and is fighting to get it back down.

My question was, didn't they give her jeans in her size? I noticed the other girls going through them and trying them on ... so I don't quite get what the prize was.
