We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I turned on "Any Dream Will Do" since I didn't hate last week's weeder episode. I turned it off within a few minutes, after being reminded why I don't watch American Idol, et al, and why I grit my teeth during "So You Think You Can Dance"--too many screaming young females!!! Just shut the fuck up and let me listen to the singing/watch the dancing.

I'd be force to spork myself in the eye if I had to go to a Jonas Brothers concert, wouldn't I?

No, because in that case all the screaming girls would be performing an act of mercy in drowning OUT the Jonas Brothers.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I am so excited for Top Chef: Masters.

And furthermore, I am interested in the season of Top Chef after Masters to see if their experience changes their judging at all! Heh.

I think the format looks interesting. I guess they couldn't take these premiere chefs and put them in a house together for months. (Wacky hijinks ensue!) But then this format does allow a large number of contestants.

Oh, I am so glad they started with Danny, tonight! That was absolutely lovely. I actually loved the arrangement, it suited him so well.

Thrive to spite them

Danny was great. Anoop impressed me. Allison was fantastic and Adam was just really awesome.

Scott needs to go. And Lil was disappointing.

Totally with you on all fronts, except for Anoop. His voice bugs me, it's all nasal and tight sounding.

askye is me. Except for Danny. I still don't get his appeal. Also, "Stand By Me" is not an 80s song.

But at least it was a better arrangement than "Part-time Lover".
