"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Well, that's true. But I can see from their perspective going, we're going to gamble on our guy being right. They'd won their way before not doing the same thing as everyone else (hang glider, basket).

But okay, I can see it as the result of a decision, and that feels better to me at least. But I'll still miss them.

It definitely sucks, when the two BIs (bumbling idiots) have made so many mistakes before this.

I remain distressed that J and I are not competing--especially with J being a marathon runner and a tri-athlete- in-training, I think it is safe to say we would have smoked the competition in these last few legs.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Re: Team Red. I've never been to Thailand, but I have been to India, and I do really sympathize with the teams who find it hard to handle. India is the most overwhelming place I've ever been and I was there as a tourist traveling with my family (in-laws) who spoke fluent Hindi. The trick is simply not to be an asshole about it - the lack of personal bubbles and/or sense of urgency can be deeply stressful if you're not used to it, but that does not make it okay to yell at your cab driver!

I don't watch TAR, but just caught this -- people were trying to get things done by yelling at Thais? That's the worst thing you can do, and leads to instant passive aggression. They're Buddhists, and face is very important. How assholish.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I feel safe saying this here -- I've never been anywhere, and even I know that smiling is important in Thai culture, from watching ANTM! Anyway, don't you always catch more flies with honey??

Hah! That's right! See, ANTM does teach important stuff.

Silly Jesse, don't you remember all my fruit fly experiments when I showed that actually you catch more flies with vinegar!

I didn't know about the smiling thing, but I would think that generally yelling is not best.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

A good interview with Mel and Mike. They were only five minutes behind Lekisha and Jen at the pitstop.

Thrive to spite them

Thoughts on AI tonight?

Megan was...bad and the judges are finally seeing that. Adam was I think a little screamy at theend but it was a great performance and Matt could have chosen better. I liked Allison (not what she was wearing but how much choice does she have? Aren't the stylist supposed to make them look good?). Lil was..eh and Scott ..it was funny because last week I told someone he sounded like a cut rate Billy Joel.

Hopefully this week will be the week Megan goes home.

Maybe.

Oh ! Danny, Danny was amazing and so much better than last.

information libertarian

I missed Megan, Danny, and Alison, so I;m going on those 10-second clips at the end for them. My bottom three would probably be Anoop, Megan, and Scott right now. Adam is totally growing on me. And I'm starting to kinda think Matt is sexy.
