Every planet has its own weird customs. About a year before we met, I spent six weeks on a moon where the principal form of recreation was juggling geese. My hand to God. Baby geese. Goslings. They were juggled.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Heh - I gave up watching because I thought it was getting too repetitive and schticky. YMMV.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

On ANTM's Celia, Rich at fourfour has a picture comparison of her with James Carville, and it's pretty good.

Thrive to spite them

Any thoughts on AI's new rule?

Personally I wasn't surprised at the eliminated ones, nor I was I surprised they came out of the wild card round.

The new rule...might be interesting.

Any thoughts on AI's new rule?

I think it's good. Although it makes the boot even crueler (than singing the song that got you kicked out) in that now the judges will have to essentially say "you're not worth saving" every time.

I was worried there would be some sort of immunity every week, although I liked a co-worker's suggestion that the judges pick the bootee from the bottom 2 or 3.

I was surprised about Anoop. I like him, but he was not good this week.

Yep, this is my feeling. Though they STILL get to sing the song that got them booted. If they sucked the first time, why, oh why, do we have to hear it again? I mean, what - is that going to become they way to appeal to the judges to save them?

I've never understood the whole singing thing. Although, I generally don't watch the results show anyway, so it doesn't really matter to me.

I think the judges' "save" is an interesting idea, but as can be see with Simon's brutal "no", I don't think it's a very kind thing. But, people don't watch this show just for the singing, they also watch it for the meltdowns. It's good TV.

No Amazing Race chat? Is the episode that boring?

I have, in my hot little hands, an authentic Amazing Race flag and Route Info folder. They are SO COOL.
