You'd never make it. I'd rip your spine out before you got half a step. Those little legs wouldn't be much good without one of those.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

What is funny to me in that article is it makes Mike White the celebrity, whereas I know many people who see the Rev. Mel White as the celebrity in that pair.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Mike White definitely has more mainstream name recognition, or at least credits -- I mean, everyone knows School of Rock!

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I did not know Mike White or his father.

SMV I know.

Clearly there is an aspect to my experience that is incredibly racialized!

Absolutely, but more in certain circles, obviously.

I am reminded of my mother saying, "Nancy Carlsson-Paige is Matt Damon's mother?? She's famous!" Sure, in her field.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I have never heard of Mike White's father, but I know Mike from School of Rock, Freaks and Geeks, and I also know that he was a staff writer on Dawson's Creek!

Wow, way to blow it out of the water with the first singer! Randy is full of shit, she's got a great voice for the type of song she chose. No, she's not an opera star or a pretty voice, but she can still sing.

ETA: From the pictures on the AI website, I think the first one was Jackie Tohn.
