Ariane's situation suggests that these chefs really are removed from the source of their ingredients. She should have realized that the lamb would be very tender and not need a heavy marinade (for example.)

Of course, when she won with lamb, she was not the one to do the marinade.

Oh, and I so want Stefan to crash and burn. Smug is bad enough, but he's gone full-blown smarmy. He definitely epitomizes the word backpfeifengesicht to me.

Yes to all of this. I hope that even though they won, someone at judges table pointed out how stupid the soup idea was.

All in all, I'm not sure who I wanted to go home. I do think Carla and Ariane are the weakest chefs at this point, but Leah is bugging me more and more. And how the frak is Radhika the leader next week?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Of course, when she won with lamb, she was not the one to do the marinade.

I'd forgotten that, and it's a really good point.

And how the frak is Radhika the leader next week?

Probably a coin toss.

I think Leah really "likes" Josea and that's what's messing with her groove.

Really, I think that he's more interested than she is.

Both of them have gone way downhill the past few weeks, that's for sure.

Okay, I've been looking up the whole face that cries out for a fist thing and found this great article on words in other languages. It included this gem:

Kummerspeck is a German word which literally means grief bacon: it is the word that describes the excess weight gained from emotion-related overeating.

MADE OF AWESOME.
