Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

And the fact that they thought one-pot meal meant that you could use the same pan multiple times makes me go to an Inigo Montoya place.

And what about the "vichy-SWA"?? Total pet peeve.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

The one-pot thing annoyed me no end. I realize that these people are not home cooks, but COME THE FUCK ON. How do you not know what a one-pot meal is??

And for Ariane to have won by (basically) ignoring the challenge...bah humbug.

I hope they take Tom's chat to heart and step it up in the next few weeks. The level of cooking so far this season has not been good.

I did love Fabio's Top Scallops jab. Hee.

I was noting that Jamie is always using scallops. I love them, but jeez!

Good to know that there are others out there defending the French language. Even if they are cowgirls.

Recipe for Ariane's cauliflower puree. Her definition of "a little" heavy cream? 2 cups. For 1 head of cauliflower. Eep!

How about "a little" butter?

I actually have a fairly elaborate system of determining what's OK and what's not, when using foreign words in English. Like, "torrr-tee-ya" is fine, "torrr-tilla" is not. Vish-ee-swah-zzz!!
