Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

In Jeff's defense, they did wind up picking the salad as the winner.

Meredith or someone said something like, "It's not interesting, but at least it tastes good" or something.

In all fairness, they didn't know that they would be cooking for the mainstream.

It was sold as a tv demo -- I think that calls for mainstream, even if you DON'T assume there's some twist.

Fabio has totally grown on me.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Survivor--Another great ep. I am totally Bob's bitch right now. I love that Mrs. Bob is as charming as Bob. Her telling the camera how good he looked and smelled was so adorable.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

And yet? I was glad when their wacky plan failed. Maybe now that Corrine's gone I can root for him, but Sugar still has my heart.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I *loved* Kenny's "flush out the idol or get rid of Corinne" add-on to the wacky plan! Brilliant!

That said, I hope it comes down to Bob v Sugar in the end because I just like them. (Anyone would be pretty stupid to take Bob to the final 2, but he's good enough in challenges that I think it could happen.)

Ooh, Bob v. Sugar would be fabulous.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

yeah, but he didn't need to vote for Matty in order to get that plan going. Bob and Corrine's vote would have sufficed if the idol was real and played. Hell, Bob could have voted for Corrine too. So I though Kenny was... not so smart.

I think his goal was that if Corinne's idol WAS real and she played it, he wanted to be able to prove he was on their side.

The more I think about it, the more it looks like's he's been hoisted on his own too-clever petard.

His options were:

1. Get Crystal to go along with voting for Matty. This means Corrine doesn't need to play the idol, but probably still would (if it were real) so the idol's out and the game is flipped with him in a four-man alliance on top.

2. Do nothing. If the idol is real, Corrine plays it, Matty is out, and Kenny's alliance is still in a 4-2 position with his biggest in-group competition gone. Since Corrine doesn't have an idol, she's out, and his alliance is 5-1.

3. Vote for Matty, tell Crystal to vote for Corrine. If the idol is real, the result is the same as option 1 except Crystal retains her ability to swing since she's not on record screwing Suzi and Sugar. If the idol is not real, the numbers are the same as option 2 except Kenny's just blown up his own alliance. Best case scenario is that Crystal sticks with him resulting in a 3-3. Which could happen, she's no strategic master herself, but it's not a lot to hang your chances on.

Which is not to say that an underdog team of Kenny and Bob couldn't do some damage themselves. And Sugar is always an open question. But still.

For anyone watching TAR on tape, it seems like it started a couple of minutes late -- not sure if that would cut off the actual winner or just the aftermath, but FYI.

I still haven't seen last week's - my Tivo is programmed to tape an extra half hour, but it started 45 minutes late. (I figured I'd catch it on CBS.com and never had the chance.) Guess I'll just have to watch the previouslies before this one.
