When I saw the uniform they had to change into, I thought that the Frats wasted their money on the shoes at the airport--they should have taken the boots instead!
Actually, they did waste their money either way. They could have gotten by with the slippers until they got to Moscow, and then spoken with someone at the airport about where to go for cheap shoes on the way to the monastery. It would have been a time loss, but it was a tradeoff--money or time.
Top Chef is going to have some behind the scenes with the eliminated cheftestant thing starting this week. From the Futon Critic:
NEW YORK November 24, 2008 For the first time ever, viewers will get to see what happens after host Padma Lakshmi tells chef'testants on Bravo's "Top Chef: New York" to "pack up their knives and go." The Emmy Award-winning Magical Elves will produce "After the Knife," an original companion webisode series for the No.1 food show on cable, available exclusively on BravoTV.com starting Wednesday, November 26th at 11 p.m. EST. Each week, viewers will follow the eliminated chefs into the sequester house and capture the reactions of the previously eliminated chef'testants to see what life is like after getting the cut. Thoughts on TAR:
The hilarity of their marching almost made up for the stupidness of the fraternity guys.
I hated the flour challenge. They couldn't find something more interesting in Moscow? They say they want an all-female team to win, but stupid, purely physical challenges like that aren't helping.
Also, I'm with whoever lamented above about the lack of transportation decisions to be made. Portugal and the taxi/bus/train adventures seem so long ago.
Looking at the credits, I'm pretty happy with the final four (although I'd prefer the geeks over Dandrew).
Yeah, I miss the geeks. But they would have been outed by now with the physical stuff anyway.
And I probably miss the beekeepers, but they weren't in long enough for me to know. They were really cute, though.
I didn't realize Lacey Schwimmer was one of the professional dancers on the
Dancing with the Stars.
Not that I would watch it, but still.

Yep. I kinda liked her, as I always seem to be drawn to problem children. But she was with Lance Bass, whom I very much enjoyed.
I saw a clip of the "It's Tricky" dance on CNN the other day, and whoa, that was bad. Apparently Brooke Burke won and Warren Sapp came in second. I kinda wanted Warren Sapp to score one for the big people.
Hmm, I wonder if the bad marching is up on youtube yet. I have non-TAR watching former color guard friends that MUST SEE IT.
Yes! The Marching is on youtube.
I couldn't watch the marching at all!
My boyfriend was hanging out with someone last night who will be having Thanksgiving with Stephanie, last season's Top Chef winner!! I'm dying to know what the menu will be.
