In re ANTM, the Fug Girls were unimpressed with the finale but glad to have their schedules cleared up. They've been having to choose among that, Bones and Pushing Daisies. Their comment?
What kind of monster expects you to choose between Tyra Banks, David Boreanez, and baked goods?
LOVED Survivor this week. In your FACE, dickwad! Also, I think Bob
is going to play it off that he thought it WAS the real idol, so he was fooled too. I have a soft spot for Bob. And Kenny won immunity, which I also loved. Go, teeny, earnest little geek guy!
I agree Scrapppy. I assume that's why Bob
voted for Susie. So that he would have deniability.
I'm glad to see that, based on the promo, the throwing away of the other idol comes up. It always bugged me that they seemed to have forgotten there was another idol out there somewhere.
To me, it looked like Bob is going to try and convince Corinne that the idol he gave Randy was the other idol from the beach. [Or rather, that he thought it was.]
My housemate desperately wants to believe that Bob makes another one and manages to convince Corinne that it's the one from the beach and to pull the same thing Randy did.

That would be pretty priceless.
Whoever woulda thought that Krystal, Kenny and Susie would become forces to be reckoned with--especially given how none of them are physical threats. Krystal LOOKS like a physical threat but she always folds in the challenges, so I am amazed any of them made it this long. It's why I love this show.
I think Crystal would be a physical threat (a) in a footrace (b) after a month of training (c) well-rested and well-fed. But under these circumstances, she's probably just barely getting enough calories to stay conscious (and being a professional sprinter doesn't mean you can throw a ball or walk a balance beam, so in many challenges her skills just don't apply).
That said, she's probably feeling pretty good about her decision not to tell anyone she used to be an Olympian.

Like say on the first day when she had to be dragged up the hill?

Oh yeah. Actually, I was hoping that might come with the whole Marcus thing. That could have been fun-ee.
Yep, that's the one. It's huuuuuuuuuuuuuge.
I know! I've actually been in there a couple times! It's proved a convenient place to sit, have a cup of coffe and read when I'm in the city and a couple hours early for whatever lunch engagement I have in the neighborhood. (Especially in the summer, when it was scorching.)
I was equally dismayed about the lack of understanding about New American, which was made clear by the comment by one of them about "contemporary American," which, yeah, there's your problem right there.
To be fair -- and remember, I'm not much of a cook, and these folks should be WAY ahead of ME -- Tom's explanation of New American cuisine on his blog was terribly confusing, and left me going, "Huh. So, Thomas Kelleher is New American, and so is Mario Battalie. Huh. I don't get it."
One suspects that the phrase itself is the bugaboo here: It strikes me as one of those things that have meant so much to so many people that it's essentially meaningless. So what happened was, for the most part, an emphasis on classic American flavors (done badly, evidently, fo rwhich there's no excuse) when what they should have been concentrating on was sophistication.
