Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own

This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]

The Project RunGay boys had a good point:

the Leanne vs. Korto question is settled when we look at it this way: If you were to take away all the styling choices and remove all the color from each collection, which one would stand up more?

For us that answer is obviously Leanne. Korto's collection got a big boost from the incredibly rich colors, the extravagant jewelry and the masterful styling and staging (loved those fans), but in terms of pure fashion with a capital F, it's just got to be Judy Noodles.

New Bourdain show - debuts Monday, October 20th.

Sounds like "Dinner for Five" from IFC, except about food instead of movies. I like the concept. Some of my favorite Bourdain moments have been the "having dinner with friends/acquaintances" segments of his shows.

hah! from a comment on Proj Rungay

All of you who are so concerned about Leanne's hair will be happy to know that when she appeared on Regis & Kelly this morning, she had had a cut and it was clean. It looked SO much better!

THANK GOD!

I think that she borrowed the hat from Jerrell.

The next level of the Reality TV Show brackets is up at WGN radio--one of my hardest votes ever was Dirty Jobs vs. Amazing Race!!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Finally watched the PR finale. I really feel that the only reason Kenley lost was because they didn't like her. I can't believe Leanne one for doing the same outfit over and over again. It was so boring! I'm glad that she is getting new hair.I can't believe she allowed herself to look that way on the runway.

I really feel that the only reason Kenley lost was because they didn't like her.

Really? I didn't like her collection at all. Uglee. and the painted fabric looked amateurish and granny, not in a good way, to me.

But that's just me. From what Tim said, he thought she had some beautiful looks but everything was just really stiff. It didn't move well as clothing on the models at all.
