No, she models plus size clothing. They were giving her shit throughout the competition for losing weight because there is NO market for the in-between models (the size 10-12s basically). It's all crazy. of course.

Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
I put "plus-size" in quotes because, seemingly, she put on weight to be on the show as a "plus-size" and then, when she won, Tyra was calling her curvy or something. (And sizes are crazy - I saw one catalog that was classifying XL as a 12.)
"Plus-size" models officially start at size 16, IIRC. So if you're size 4-14 aka THE SIZE OF MOST WOMEN, you can't haz modeling career.
This web site says most plus-size models are sizes 10-16: [link]
Of course, given the way sizes vary, is that a J. Crew 10 or a Lands End 10 or a Chanel 10, or who knows what?
Huh - my sister (who ranges from 10-14 depending on brand) has always been told by agents that she's too big to be a "regular" model and too small to count as plus-size.

And that's what they were telling Whitney last cycle.
New Bourdain show - debuts Monday, October 20th.
huh, I guess in my FFing, I have just been missing the CG commercials.
HOW MUCH DO I LOVE THAT TIM IS THE GUEST JUDGE?!?!?!?!
Hmmm. *Maybe* as much as I do. Possibly.
I can't call it right now. Except that I think seen all together, Leanne's collection is way too one-note, and way too literal in the interpretation of "waves". Every garment (I think?) has that rippling ... wave thing on it.
