Punishingly Intricate

She's a little over the top sometimes, but she gives compliments as well.

And she really comes across as knowing what she's talking about. And that she wants these businesses to succeed.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

You could tape Tabatha's show and use it in a business school for proper management.

absolutely. The moment on this week's show where she talked about her passion and why she did what she did was awesome. I want her to cut my hair!

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I *love* Tabitha. She was over the top on "Shear Genius" - but I totally understand why. She's got very exacting standards so it probably made her angry when other contestants weren't as professional as she is.

She kicks ass every single week. I've seen every episode.

Because books.

I love the show, too! I love that she's so up front about all of it -- when the salons are dirty, especially. I also love that it's not all about showing them up, or humiliating them -- when she took the whole crew into Manhattan for training, and new haircuts, to see how a really top-flight professional salon worked, that was fabulous.

I think my favorite was the Italian guy, and her getting him to *throw* money out the window. She's brash, but she's not wrong. And I still love listening to her talk.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yeah, I'm sold on Tabatha's show. I think she's great, and really cares about her profession. She takes a lot of abuse, but stands up to it because she's so committed. She rocks.

BTW, did you guys see the Top Chef:NY teaser during this week's PR?

When does it start?
