"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

OH this would have been great. Jerrell would have seriously rocked it.

No, I don't think so. I think Jerrell did kind of sabotage Suede because that was not a rock and roll walk on the runway. Especially for somebody that had been a model, he gave no strut.

Well he would have looked hot anyway.

I've hated Suede but there's no way he should have gone when the other option was Kenley! Producer bullshit indeed.

I actually don't really have problems with Kenley, and think she's a better designer than Suede, but even I agree with this.

Indubitably.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

He looked pretty hot as it was and it didn't help much.

I didn't think Kenley was that great on the runway - she pretty much maintained bitchface throughout. Though I suppose that might have been what she thought appropriate to the character.

"We have trust issues." Mylar

I thought Suede got the look he was going for, kind of Lenny Kravitz rocker cool. That's what he described to Jerrell in the workroom and I think that's what he delivered. I could totally see Lenny rockin' that entire look in a video. For me, LL's critique was spot on in that it certainly wasn't a look that would work on stage in a big stadium during a performance. At the same time, those are not the directions that Tim gave. He just told them to make a look that represented their assigned music style, and it seemed like Suede did that. At least, way more than Kenley ever did. And his pants were impeccably done and fit Jerrell very well . . . unlike some others.

Survivor in two minutes, whoo!

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I'm watching Tim Gunn on Craig Ferguson and it's hilarious! CF loves Project Runway, he's such a cute fanboy! He was talking about Kenley arguing with Tim and he said "I'm like, Bitch, please!" and Tim replied "I was thinking the same thing!"

Tim also agreed when CF said that Suede's outfit wasn't great, but Kenley's was catastrophic.

My love for Tim Gunn is unequaled.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Speaking of famous people loving other TV shows, I was watching Ace of Cakes over at Food Network, and Duff, Mary Alice, and Geof all went to the Get Smart premiere with a phone booth cake and got to meet Steve Carrell and his wife, who said that they were huge fans of Duff's show and he was as thrilled to meet them as they were to meet him. It was really cute to watch!

There was also another great client on the show, who for his 70th birthday party decided to have a "live wake," complete with a New Orleans-style parade with a band walking down the street and the birthday-boy/faux-corpse drinking wine while lying in a casket atop a horse-drawn cart. Not a bad idea, to celebrate your own funeral while still alive!

TiVo decided to record My Name is Earl on both our tuners last night, so we missed the first 30-40 mintues of Survivor. No biggie normally, since they are usually just introducing people, but it seemed we missed one of the challenges. What was it and what was it for?
