For the win, I loved, loved Joe's. Shocking. I thought it was divine.
I liked it, but it wasn't avant garde, I think. But what the hell do I know?
I'm thinking the construction must have been worse than I saw.
yeah, plus any time a designer uses gold lamè, they call it cheap looking, or "question the taste level"
the other thing I noticed is that Kenley's laugh is fake about half the time that she was shown laughing in last night's ep - perhaps more.
THAT shit would drive me crazy. I'm known as someone who laughs a lot and loudly, but damn if I cannot stand fake laughers. That would drove me up a fucking wall.
I'm sure that a lot of it was editing, but Terri really seemed like a stone cold bitch. Keith sleeping wasn't great (Tim had to wake him up!), but Terri refused to work with him. or anyone else, for that matter.
Yeah, by that point she had nothing to complain about.
Why did they skip through the judging so quickly? Did we even see any comments about the top four? And it would've been cool if they actually read out some of what the other designers had to say about their picks. If it was a time issue, they could have sacrificed some of the Keith and Terri show.
maybe they are slapping that up on that godforsaken website.
Yeah, they never really explained what was good about Jerrel's outfit. I kind of loved it, from what I saw, but I have no memory of what sign it was meant to represent.
God that was a stupid challenge.

I read tim's take, and even he didn't explain what was good about it, just a description --
Jerell WINS! He is teamed with Jennifer and what a dynamic duo they were with Sagittarius as their point of departure. I applaud risk-taking and this design was risky: an exaggerated brown houndstooth check high-waisted pencil skirt with a hip treatment that was like a deflated pannier, a gold chain-mail camisole, and a space-dyed shrunken jacket with a cacophony of trims. This look could have been a riotous disaster, and in less talented hands it would have been, but they made it work. Congratulations, Jerell!
I guess the former designers picked the winner, then the judges took the bottom 4 designs and picked the loser. Since the judges didn't discuss the winner, we didn't see it.
I need to see pictures again.
I was v. surprised at Jerrell's win - I thought that Leeanne or Kotto had don a better job of envisioning the sign.
I was surprised that Terri was gone so quickly. That must have been what Tim was talking about and she never did get a win - which is a shame. She really should have put Keith to use but I think she didn't have any idea what his strengths were and given that she had regularly been pulling off multi-piece outfits she probably thought she was okay.

I think that Korto is going to go postal. She has been a runner up in most of the challenges, but has never won. I'm going to start calling her Susan Lucci.
I thought she did win - didn't she win the Olympics Challenge?
Project Rungay always has good pictures: [link]
