I was sure Leanne's dress was going to be awful with those hip bump thingies, but it turned out okay. I still didn't love it, but it was better than I was expecting.

Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
I mean, it was beautiful and all, but I can walk down Michigan Avenue and find ten stores selling bags made of woven seatbelts. Hell, the chairs in the cafe in my office are made of that. There was nothing innovative about that.
That's what I was thinking, too. I was waiting for one of the judges to mention the seatbelt bags.
Top Model!!!
I love how the Asian girl from Harlem is all down with the transexual woman and the Mormon etc. are freaking out already.
PR: I was a thousand million percent certain the other one in the bottom two would go. I mean, WTF! That was hideous!
I actually liked Stella's outfit, if it had been tailored at all properly. You're right about the one who stayed.
Leanne is really pulling it out. Surprising.
Oh, how I love Sheena on Top Model. She is totally bringing the Asian flava! She's Kimora-tastic in the best possible way.
I'm still scared of Tyra and the Js getting their hands on our lovely transgender model. Giving Isis "privacy" as her election issue? Subtle, Fivehead. Very subtle.

Amen!! I really like her! And the hottie dykey vegan from Seattle is also a fave, though I suspect she'll hit up on something she's not willing to do soon, and get kicked out.
I did love how Isis' privacy picture turned out though--it was gorgeous. I wished those bitches doing the "you need to shave" and shit during it had gotten smacked down, though. Damn.
I fear for the makeovers soon, when I suspect they'll do just as much damage to some of the girls who already look gorgeous (Sheena, dykey Seattle girl, the french one) as the will to help the ones who need it (that one with the awful red hair).
And yet the transgender model still looked more feminine than Dominique from cycle 10.
On PR I actually thought that the bottom 3 design that didn't end up in the bottom 2 was the worst. The others at least had some sort of concept.
Was that the one with the back and the hood and stuff?
My least favorite was the long green print dress with the herringbone jacket over the top. Neither piece was interesting, they didn't go together, and I wouldn't have thought they were inspired by the era. Although I don't have a lot of knowledge about that era anyway.
