Adam gets his show.

Interesting! I wonder how much their "Who could start tomorrow?" question played into naming Aaron the winner, in that case (since his was going to be a studio cooking show, and Adam's sounds like it required a ton of preproduction - research, location scouting, etc).

The last Shear Genius short-cut challenge was awesome! The funny thing is, my hair is currently deep blue/purple with pinky highlights on top - exactly what Nekesa was going for and failed to do because she COMPLETELY LACKS TALENT. I couldn't believe they didn't send her home.

Likewise, the winning dress last week on PR was just awful. WTF was with that poofy thing on her hip?

My gays tell me that it was apparently evocative of the spring 2008 Balanciaga line, which allegedly shows that she is up on current trends. Or a copycat. Either one.

I want to like her, but I don't. I do think that she is talented, though. I thought that either Terry's or mousy girl's should have one. I don't like the dress with pants look, but it was very New York.

Yes, Project RunGay had a couple of pictures from the Balenciaga Spring line and it would have fit right in.

I was very amused that my gays called it before I saw it on Project Rungay. I'm glad they had the pictures, J (my gay) didn't have a good link.

Ok, if anyone is thinking of buying me fabulous clothes, please to be avoiding this line. My hips are quite big enough on their own without having random poofy things attached to them. (Also, I don't really wear prints. But that's just my own issues.)

"We have trust issues." Mylar

I think the schedule the show has given them has to take some of the blame - they've been dancing two dances + solo + group dance for weeks now. Also, I could have sworn last season the top four had an extra week before the finale to give them a little time to rest up.

Very much this. They started dancing two dances at what? Top 12? And the solos started at Top 10 and didn't stop. And then there was the week that they did a girl's group dance, a boys group dance and a mixed group dance all on the same night. They have been working these kids into the ground this season just so Fox could keep airing two hours worth of original programming. It's amazing that Jessica is the only one who had gone down previously.

Last year, I would've given my right arm for pre-finale spoliers and they had everything locked up tight as a drum. This year . . . eh, not so much. I mean, I'm sure I'll look because I'm me! But at this point, I'm just not all that invested in who wins. Having said that, I'm sure I'll be miffed if anyone but Katee wins. Nigel's been angling so hard for a hip hop dancer to win this year, and I'd love to see him thwarted.

Interesting that Nigel is leaving AI. I wonder if he'll leave SYTYCD as well.

This week's Top Gear with the Richard, Jeremy and James' mothers was excellent. This is despite storm induced wonkiness in the recording.

I think that the article that I read said that he wanted to concentrate on SYTTCD.

Har. Me too, but I love Joshua to pieces. And those thighs!!!! (sorry, I have a bit of a fetish about strong thighs)

I love that James's mum was the speed freak! Captain Slow became so in reaction to his mom's driving--hilarious. And watching Jeremy and his mom trying to figure out the Peugot was great.
