Um, well, we listened to aggressively cheerful music sung by people chosen for their ability to dance. Then we ate cookie dough, and talked about boys.

Megan! Wanna go see the tour in either San Jose or Oakland?

Did everyone see LL Cool J do the For Real during his song? I hope that Comfort was talking to him about a job as a backup dancer.

Perkins! Hmmm, I'm generally not into that sort of thing--leery of screaming teenagers. Let me ruminate. When are they here?

"We have trust issues." Mylar

Wow! I have no idea what's going on with this show. I did not see the Will boot coming at all. Twitch is a very likeable guy but he is limited as a dancer. He's gotten the Cedric treatment in both of the contemporary pieces he's done with Mia (even though I still love the bed dance) and he has really sucked at ballroom. He's really only shown that he can do hip hop (and Broadway to an extent - although Tasty is NOT Broadway and I don't think Twitch could've handled the technical work that Gev did in his Broadway piece with Courtney). Comfort going was well earned. And I am happy and shocked as all get out that Mark is still around. That boy has more lives than a sack full of cats.

Now that Will's gone, I expect to see Miss Debbie Allen on my screen in the near future.

I wanted to enjoy the group dance more than I actually did. I mean, it was appropriately Mark-tastic, but it just didn't have a lot of punch. They danced it well, though.

Comfort had the best DoD tonight, which should reveal the level displayed by the rest of the kids. I am going to chalk it up to the fact that they were all so sad.

Since worrying about Mark is my new part-time job, I'm worried now that he'll suffer from the "Will left too early" backlash. Hopefully that Hawai'i voting bloc can show the same strength that pushed Jasmine Trias to the AI Top 3 (only this time it will actually be justified).

ETA: I did not like watching the show on West Coast time. I kept wanting to come in here and see what people were saying, but I couldn't!

ETA #2: The swaybots on SYTYCD are even more egregious than they were on AI. I never even dreamed that it could be possible. But at least on AI, all they can do is sit there and sway stupidly. They have to stay mostly silent while the kids sing. But here . . . good heavens! Listening to idiots squeal through that lovely pas de deux almost ruined the whole performance for me.

Perkins, I think I'll have to pass. Thanks for asking though.

OMG, yes! I can understand their enthusiasm when the contestants are on stage, but I'm surprised they weren't told beforehand to STFU when the pros were dancing.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I remain shocked about Will this morning. I def saw him as one of the top 4 and thought ofhe and Katee as the two to beat. Now I think it is really betweek Katee and Chelsea.

Librarian Warlord

I was shocked at the Will boot, but following quickly was the thought that this won't make much of a difference to his career as a whole, and I think he knows it (although it's probably nice to win, too, and take their money). Will had already been noticed by choreographers, etc., before he hit the sytycd stage and he handled the boot like a professional.

Contrast with Twitch's reaction when he heard he was in danger. He'd interviewed during auditions, I think, that it was this or the navy -- which, if he's telling the truth, seems to indicate that his career in dance wasn't going anywhere, so being on that stage means something very different for his life's path.

So, thanks America for giving Nigel the proverbial finger with Mark, but boo for not dialing in enough votes to keep the best dancer-man on the stage.

Does anyone know what's going to happen with Comfort and the tour? Are they going to send both her and Jessica?
