"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

that pas de deux? who else could have danced that except Katee and Will? I mean, damn. no other couple could have done it, I don't think.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Late W&P

Jessica has two cracked and one broken rib but she still came out in stiletto heels and a skin tight dress.

hey, the dress was helping to keep her ribs steady. Um, right?

wow, that two step was awful. It made me dizzy, for one. And, their tempo varied throughout the number. Not very exciting either. I'd be interested to see what meara thought, as our resident two stepper.

Open arms? I just threw up in amy mouth a little. Although I'm happy to see Comfort dance with someone who is not a sexless contemporary dancer. (not that all contemporary dancers are sexless, her partners have been.

She trusts Twitch, that's important.

Wow, is that Star Search's Sam Harris, I wonder.

Keep Will shirtless and in the competition. That was totally unecessary. Appreciated, but unecessary.

Once again, Joshua is working the tight pants. One thing I love about him is the way that he totally trusts his partner to be where she's supposed to be. He doesn't watch or look at his partner to make sure, but he also still connects with his partner.

I said it last week, I'll say it again (and I suspect every week) FIRE THE COSTUME DESIGNER. Despite the awesomeness of the Twitch/Comfort routine, I hated the fucking costume.

Oh, nice cross promotion with the David Archuleta. And more shirtless Will. ooooh, BAD cut of the song!!!

Mary, it was NOT flawless. There was a very awkward moment when Katie got caught in the dance through (the thing where her upper body goes through his arms was awkward and jerky)

Thank you Nigel, for noticing the mistake.

Because books.

PR just surprised me! I thought for sure Garbage Bag Lady would go, just because her effort was so...pathetic.

Yeah, the other guy's raincoat was a little bizarre, but at least he *designed* something, with detail. (Weird detail, but whatever.) Hers looked exactly like what it was -- a garbage bag.

I've missed Tim so! ::sniff::

PR:

I already hate Blayne (the tanning guy), Suede (talking about yourself in the third person is never good, and when's the last time anybody saw Jordache jeans). I'm not crazy about flower hair girl, but I will withhold judgment.

I am always struck by how badly some of the designers dress.

Why is everyone so surprised about the tablecloths? I mean, are you kidding? You got a big piece of fabric!!!!

I am not surprised that Jerry lost, that outfit was dreadful. I mean Stella's was bad, but at least there was an outfit there. Jerry's was just awful. and what possessed him to use the yellow gloves?

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Okay we aren't even done yet, but I want to see Twitch go - because he can really only do the one thing - and Comfort or Kherington, either one. Based on tonight alone, I'd keep Comfort.

Agree with you on the girls. For the guys I think it's a toss up between Gev and Mark and I'm not really happy about either of those.

And, yes, I'm still keeping score... Kherington: 9 High heel shoes: 1

Truly amazing.

I just recently started using Read New and must remember not to do that on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Yeah, it's dangerous being on Pacific Time, and even worse when you tend to use TiVo! I have to be very careful in the late afternoon to remember I can't click in here!

Lil C was an AWESOME judge!! It's a shame he didn't get to judge when it MEANT something.

They didn't really look like they were dancing to me, not that I know anything about Two Step, but it felt more like they were just going from one thing to another.

This was the first time I saw a dance and was like "hey! I could do this dance!" Um, except for the lifts. And yeah, they didn't really do a two step, so much. Because if you watch, there were no...two...steps. And their two step, as the judges said, pretty much sucked. Which made me sad. But also made me a little sad at the choreographers, in a way. Also, why was she in heels for the rehearsal (you don't wear heels for a two step! Seriously, it makes it harder!!) but boots for the dancing?

I liked Gev and Chelsie's contemporary a lot better than Sonia's last comic book contemporary for the Very Tall People.

I'm suspicious of the Pas De Deux--WOULD they have had anyone but Will dance it? And would that choreographer have choreographed it for anyone BUT Will??

I was VERY excited to see Comfort dance hiphop with someone who was not Big White Contemp Guy. Sniff. I wish I'd gotten to see that sooner.

I loved Joshua and the Tight Pants Rhumba. Yum.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Jesse (or anyone else), can you tell me what happened on BB tonight? I didn't get home in time to see it, and the tivo was reserved for SYTYCD.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Project Runway: I suspect Blayne is retarded. The winner (Kelli?) was very innovative.

Shear Genius: I can't believe Nekisia is still on. She's been in the bottom every freaking time and she did nothing on that woman's hair.

Nicole is an excellent haircutter but she's going to lose on coloring or styling.

Charlie's a bitch, but not in the entertaining way. He's just a shitty human. Also, he would've been out if he didn't have immunity.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Why is everyone so surprised about the tablecloths? I mean, are you kidding? You got a big piece of fabric!!!!

I didn't get surprised so much as disappointed. I mean, the challenge is to use unusual materials - making a dress out of a big piece of fabric is just lazy. (Not to mention, the tablecloths were UGLY.)

I was surprised Raincoat Guy went home because usually unfinished trumps ugly, at least in the early challenges. Stella did nothing to those garbage bags.
