I want to like Comfort and Thayne a lot more than I do. And so do the judges, apparently...

Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
They seem to have fallen out of love with Comfort. I think they wanted her to be another Sabra, but she just wasn't what they thought she was.
So the title of this week's episode is "throw Comfort under a bus."
subtitled: "We don't want Mark to take the place of one of our preferred men in the competition, so tonight we begin the slow march to his dismissal."

This is KILLING me. Comfort was dead in the water weeks ago and benefitted from the fact that there was other dead weight to get rid of on the girls side before her number came up. But the Mark thing is inexcusable! He tore that Broadway routine up and his technique was impeccable and the judges all but ignored him in order to prop Chelsie, except for Mia, who ripped him a new one (and this after she'd already hated all over him the week that she choreographed for him and Chelsie). I am sick about it, because he really should make Top 4 and he's getting totally sandbagged tonight.
Ah, I see. Let's do the quickstep by . . . not actually doing the quickstep. Alright-y then. Let's see, there was some jive in there, some twist, some flips. Where was the quickstep in that quickstep? At least some honesty from Nigel.
ETA: Damn! Mia is seriously getting her bitch on this evening.
The judges were harsh, but right.
Will is a total gentleman.
Courtney and Gev #2 - Mandy Moore has been really disappointing me lately. Let's see if she can bring it this time. She does much better when she has a prop. I quite enjoyed that. Gev is another sleeper when it comes to being trained. He was pulling out some lovely lines. Gev was really good in this. They are by far the best couple of the night for me.
They are totally growing on me.
You know, I think it is likely Comfort's time to go, but why get too enthusiastic about cutting her? It is kind of fucked up. She isn't on par with Katee, cool. Don't beat her up like she stole your bike.
The unevenness in the judging bothers me. The judges clearly have an idea of when it is time for a person to go and they aren't subtle about it.
Hey, Kherrington is in shoes!
