Because books.

Anybody else watching The Baby Borrowers? It's mesmerizing in that absolute train wreck way. A couple of the teens discovered the cluestick on Day One, though.

Oh, I like watching those two dance. They just wake me up and make me take notice. How fun!

Kourtni/Matt

Ugh. It's fucking' Felix and his bag of tricks. No hip action, from minute one. These two are so tragically without the right kind of rhythm for this dance. They are doing all the steps, but it's just. . . not good. No fire. It was all pulled up, nothing grounded, nothing down into the floor. And totally agreed with NappyTab here that there was no passion in the piece. Back to B3 again for these two as well.

Chelsie and Mark

Wow. From that first step down onto the stage, they were both so in character. That was fun. I'm not sure how technically solid it was, but I didn't care. I've lost all ability to be objective about these two. I loved it. There was one lift that was a little awkward (with the slide down the back) but overall, I enjoyed. Love them. Costume department, thank you for continuing to put Mark in suits because he is smoking.

Twichington

SYTYCD, thank you for the shirtlessness. Mia is so on this season. That was amazing. I have to stop using that word, but that was incredible. Both of them. Just fantastic. I am in love with that piece. I'm blown away by that. I would put that above Chelsie and Mark's first piece. Total commitment, lovely technique from both. Loved.

ETA: Chelsie and Mark's first piece tonight. I still love those two like none other overall.

wow, more shirtlessness/hotness, and a great routine. I don't like contemporary, but I like Mia Michaels.

I'm really torn on that routine. I liked it, Mia really pushes the envelope with some of the stuff she choreographs and that was cool. But, I think too much of the routine relied on the mattress. Dancing is done on the floor. There was no pair work to speak of. Still, I liked it. I thought they performed it with passion and grace. Yet. Yet. Argh! I don't know that I'd vote for it, despite the fact it was excellent and I'm afraid the voting public will feel the same way.

Huh, except for the torso action, I was bored by that. I just don't get the Twitchington thing at all. I seem to be immune to their charisma, and I don't think they're that great at actually dancing either.

aww, twitch is embarrassed by the blatant body admiration.

Joshua and Katee

Eh, I wasn't feeling it. I was bored by that piece. Maybe the song was too slow? I don't know. West Coast Swing is supposed to be really sexy and this just wasn't. NappyTab needs some remedial grammar classes. So sad for them. The judges are lying. Tremendous? I won't remember this at all tomorrow.

Could it be that Twitchington is gonna be my top couple for the night? My world, she is all askew!

That last dance just didnt' thrill me. And I'm fricking bored with Benji's cartwheel thing. It's become a schtick instead of a signature mark. Use it sparingly, dude!
