We're having thunderstorms so there is breakups of the signal, weather crawls obsuring the screen and they keep breaking into the show to tell us that it's raining!
they just interrupted the Comfort/thane dance that was going pretty well I thought. What did the judges say?
Comfort and Thayne
Who is this fool choreographer? Well, at least it's not Tyce.
They were much better than I thought they would be. Thayne was much better than he has been these past couple of weeks. Comfort struggled a little bit with the heels, but she did get the characterization right. And Thayne needs to stop trying to sell the chemistry. No one's buying. Once again, the choreo was a little bit basic. Thayne's part was more demanding.
I agreed with Nigel. Again. He's a little bit harsh, but he's right. Comfort has no spark as a dancer. And Thayne's a workhorse and he's good, but not great.
Matt/Kourtni
Ugh. That was so bad. Painful bad. They were so pulled up all. the. time. Looked just like two contemporary dancers trying to do hip-hop. I did like the choreography this time. These two are just bland. Blah. Blah. Blah.
I actually kinda liked Matt and Kourtni for once. But, yeah, not hip-hop for reals.
um, did Tabatha see the same routine?
and again PLEASE FIRE THE COSTUME DESIGNER. Why is Matt wearing a fake earring and a bandana under a hat !?!?!?
I just miss real hip hop on this show, not pop video choreography. I guess it's gone, but I do miss it. Also, good heavens, it was bad

Ok, these two flat out turn it out. Every time. Love them. Love, love, love. Pure love. I didn't really care for the choreo all that much, but they really danced it well. And they do have great chemistry. They turned it out again. The fake out is getting so old. Mary really needs to give that up.

Paso? Hmmm. Well, if she's not in heels for this one, then I just don't know. Wow. I loved that. I'm shocked. I'm glad that Mary brought the expert critique. Nigel, too. Agreed that the technique was not there, but I was super entertained. NappyTab really just . . . I don't know what the hell they are talking about. And Kherington managed to not smile inappropriately through the whole dance. Well done, you.

Which ones? Chelsie and Mark danced to "Kiss Kiss" and Matt and Kourtni danced to some song by Mario that I wasn't familiar with. It was a slow, kinda romantic hip hop a la Shane's umbrella piece for Ivan and Allison or his Make It Work piece for Dom and Sabra (except not even half that good).
