Just now watching SYTYCD from last night: Wow, I was really not impressed with the Chelsie/Mark number, but maybe that's just because it was billed as hip-hop.
Mostly I'm just glad Melanie was wearing a color! (Stacy and Clinton would be proud.)

I thought of that too--'cause last time she was on I made the comment to my sister that I guess she had gone back to her schlumpy black ways.
It also prompted me to start rewatching WNTW because I've fallen off the wagon a bit myself.
Okay, Cat, give the shell back to the oyster. His pearl is getting cold and it looked better on him than it does on you.
Sexy Motherfucker! Mark just turned it out in that group dance. Wow, that was amazing.
Just when I think I can't love Mark anymore, he finds a way to get even more awesome.
And Mary looks (dare I say it?) normal tonight.
And then I"ll keep Mark, Joshua, Will, and Twitch.
meara is me!
And Hok and that other guy who's name I just forgot in that Quest group!
When they started coming out, I totally thought it was going to be a Wade number, and suddenly had this vision of Wade and Miss J from Top Model going on and on about how they love the broken-down dolls.
Oh, also, I was talking to people I didn't know last night, and for whatever reason, needed to make a SYTYCD analogy, and the guy I was talking to was all, "Oh -- I watch America's Best Dance Crew." So then we tried to do dance crew gang signs unsuccessfully.
Chelsea solo: Didn't she do the same thing last week? I could swear that was the exact same solo as last time.
Thayne solo: I thought it kinda sucked. And that was before he ran around the stage for about 7 beats.
Comfort solo: Finally. That was about 100 million times better than last week. Girl can move! I had fun with that and loved the tiny bite of real krumping at the end.
Big Pasty Solo: Bored now.
ETA: OMG! I can hear Miss J now. "Oooh. Broken down doll, child." Miss J would looooove Mark.
Kourtni Solo: Again, really well choreographed piece. This is pretty obviously something she's competed. I don't know why more of the kids don't do this.
Matt Solo: It will be a crime if Nigel's hate on for Matt saves Big Pasty again. That wasn't my favorite solo, but it was miles better than Chris.
I didn't want to see Jordin on AI and I sure as hell don't want to see her now. I'm still bitter about Mindy Doo. Though I do have to continually give props to Miss Sparks for refusing to skinnify. Oh, and I've actually heard and not hated this song. Had no idea it was her.
Totally agree with the girl going home. But, I think she should have had a better partner.
Nigel just scared me! And yes! The doofus is out!
Thank God! Big Pasty is done. And to think, we lost Brandon for this sweaty fool. Chelsea's exit was classy.
Still think Thayne and Comfort will make an awkward pair.
