Y'all see the man hanging out of the spaceship with the really big gun? Now I'm not saying you weren't easy to find. It was kinda out of our way, and he didn't want to come in the first place. Man's lookin' to kill some folk. So really it's his will y'all should worry about thwarting.

FWIW, I'm really liking this season of Top Chef. I liked the preliminiary challenge a lot, though I felt bad for the group that ended up with Tom C, because the other judges basically had the chefs do a dish with certain parameters, while Tom's group had full dinner prep and service. It's probably better for them in the long run, but talk about going through a lot just to get elminated for the ones that were.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Still, I will bet cash money that someone from his group is the ultimate winner.

Oh, that wouldn't surprise me at all. Like I said, it was probably better for them in the long run.

I'm also really enjoying that they're in Seattle. One of the few cities they've done that I know even a little more than casually if at all. I mean I've been to New York more times, but definitely feel like I know it a whole lot less.

I may have to give this season a chance then. Honestly, after last season I was willing to never watch it again. Between the repellant contestants, the idiotic weekly challenges (we're in Texas! let's do a steak barbeque every week!) and the nonsensical finale there was nothing left to draw me back.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Sitting with Morgana and nodding.

I didn't even know TC was on and have a distinct lack of interest.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I agree with Frank. It is a very good season so far.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I am too, sj.

I thinking this season of The Voice has been great too. I liked pretty much all ten of the performances this week, except for maybe Melanie, just because her voice irritates me.

Last night's results show for The Voice made me surprisingly tense, considering I didn't vote.

Does anyone know if they announce the saved people according to number of votes? I was surprised Trevin was one of the last people saved.

FInally watched Sunday's Amazing Race. Man, that's just craziness, the reversals and drama. Kinda sad, because I really liked the rockers. And count me in worried about James' ankle.

I was surprised at how much cooperation was happening--between the Chippendales and the Texans, and the Beekman Boys and...uh...Abby and what's his face. Who I both felt bad for and wanted to smack, watching the time zone challenge. God, so glad I wasn't her (I would've not been able to keep my mouth shut), but at the same time, how frustrating must that have been for him?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yeah, all of that, meara.

Does anyone know if they announce the saved people according to number of votes?

I'm sure they don't.
