Am I supposed to be changing my clothes a lot? Is that the helpful thing to do?

The models on this cycle of ANTM are less than inspiring. Last season had Anne who was such a curious little creature that she kept me interested. This year, I agree, nobody stands out. I'm holding out for a miraculous post-makeover transformation maybe? Except for how Tyra's makeovers just always make the girls look 10 million ways crazy with busted weaves and bad dye jobs so . . . yeah, I got nothing. I may be done with ANTM, too.

Tyra's said that she really hates Sara's ... rattail? is that the word? for the little braid of hair going down her back, so we know that's going to go right away. And I think the makeovers are next week - they were showing previews of girls getting their hair done (over sounds of sobbing, as usual).

And last night one girl just ... quit. Ondrei, was that her name? resigned, left before judging ... and they still sent another girl home.

I loved Top Chef! It was so wonderful to see all five chefs do so well, but the elimination was killing me! I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome.

Richard is kind of a dick, isn't he? Did he really say that he was the last of the really good chefs left in the competition? He has a HUGE ego.

I'm excited to see the returning winners next week. I really hope Stephanie kicks Richard's ass!

Yeah, Richard was kind of a dick. I don't know if he's really that full of himself or just trash talking. He seems to think that if you don't use a bunch of crazy techniques, you're not a chef, and the remaining chefs are all very strong on the basics.

BTW, how much did I love Carla using the liquid nitrogen!!!

I actually respected Tyra and the crew for sending two girls home last night. Ondrei's photo was not the worst. And the girl who went home did, in fact, photograph older than her 20 years.

I felt badly for that Ondrei girl, but seriously? Both of your brothers pass away suddenly and you decide that now is the time that you should go on Top Model? OK.

ANTM: well, so far none of them seems to be a raging bitch or batshit crazy. But there is time for that to show up. The kerfuffle about the chicken might be a sign of craziness to come.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Wow, that was a stressful judges table on TC! I can't imagine how stressed the chefs were, because I was certainly stressed out. I would have liked to have seen Richard go home just for being an asshat, but it is nice to see that they all cooked such delicious food for that challenge. Is next week the finale or just part 1 of the finale?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I love that Richard was the only one they really fucked with. Because he totally deserves it! Damn, dude, get over yourself. If nothing else, I am Very Pleased with the male:female ratio of the final five.

On Top Model (because I just can't stop, no matter how little I care, apparently), I'm willing to bet Ondrei had done all the auditions at least before the second brother died, and I can see it feeling like finally, something good in the family. That said, I'm just as glad she left. And that they still eliminated someone else.

Because books.

Wow, that was a stressful judges table on TC!

As soon as the meal was over, I said I bet no one was going home. I wonder how long they actually deliberated, or if they knew what they'd do pretty quickly.

Antonia and Mike being distantly related is sort of funny, except for how it's Mike, and eww. I am thrilled that everyone cooked so well, though. With their families there, and their history all mapped out, it must have meant a lot.

Carla's husband is adorable.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Totally.

The shocked silence when Collichio said Richard's food was "just all right" was hysterical.
