Nobody has anything to say about last night's TAR?
I loved it! Loved the periodic table clue, loved the vague reference to the anchor's name (and that several locals could ID it just based on the few words alone). Didn't love that only a few teams realized that all they had to do was find a computer with Google to look up those words, and also didn't love that Ron and Christine were not philiminated. They bug me too much, and I want them gone forthwith.
Ron was so very irritating last night "we don't follow the crowd" grrrr... I was so awesome that Kent was the only one who knew the periodic table. That A in Chem did come in handy! Next week looks sorta crazy - car accident? Oy!
I was very glad that Mallory's directions got them there ahead of Ron and Christina after all Ron's attitude about her. Just sad that they still made it in before the other team.
I have no stomach for watching R&C go through the same process again where he nits and nags and eventually learns to "trust" her.
Yeah, I was really hoping that they would be out of there. And I don't remember a thing about the team that was Philiminated.
FYI -
Anthony Bourdain is writing for the HBO series Treme:

TAR: the team that got philiminated was probably the most low-drama team in this season, thus less memorable than some. They didn't make many mistakes, except for the first challenge out of the gate.
Christine could be an awesome competitor. I loved her reminding her dad to talk in Chinese when they were trying to solve a problem out loud near the other teams. Use your advantages!
I'm not surprised Ron wanted as far away from Mallory as possible -- if I hadn't seen her do so well through a season as the last one, I'd feel the same way because she's at the far far end of extroverted, where there's no filter between brain and mouth. Yet for all that, she's competent, as well as willing to own up to mistakes and change course, and her Dad is supercompetent.
Once again, the clues were all Real Clues&tm;. Kudos to Kent for knowing his chemistry!
Yes, I thought the chemistry in kangaroo suits was just great. And Kent (Kynt?) was great.
I'm sure he was Kynt last time, glad to see he's reclaimed the e in his name....
And am definitely loving the Actual Challenges this go-round!
I, too, am loving the real challenges, although it makes me fear for the Cowboys and the Globetrotters, neither of whom are all that good at real challenges. That said, the Cowboys made quite a little comeback.
Ron and Christina bug, but I really would like to see Margie and Luke go before them. Did Luke really tell his mom to just leave the kangaroo foot? I really wish she'd have listened to him just to enjoy the sight of Phil sending them back and then them getting Philiminated. They cannot leave soon enough. And then Ron and Christina can go next. That would leave two appealing parent/child teams in the mix. I'm worried for Mel and Mike, though. I don't see how they can make it the entire race.
