You're nice, and you're funny and you don't smoke, and okay, werewolf, but that's not all the time. I mean, three days out of the month, I'm not much fun to be around, either.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

See Carla this season too.

Oh, absolutely. I just remember all the bogglement when she kept winning rounds with delicious food.

I wanted to slap Mike I last night when Antonia came into the stew room and said she won, he was such an ass especially since he was on the bottom for service crappy pasta. I had to laugh when Carla said how much she liked cooking with Antonia and Tiffany 'cause they kept their areas clean!

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

That huuuuuge pause after Antonia's announcement in the stew room was funny, in a really uncomfortable way.

Mike was an asshat about that and what about Fabio saying that her dish wasn't Italian? Annoying.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

read Collichio and Bourdain's blog this morning and Collichio's is a lot longer than usual. He discusses the history of Italian cooking in this country - in a discussion I found interesting.

Since I found out to read the blogs using Safari "reader" functionality, it has made the whole experience much more pleasant.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

what about Fabio saying that her dish wasn't Italian? Annoying.

That really annoyed me. That dish is such a classic Italian dish; some version of it is on any good Italian menu. It may come down to the fact that Italian food is so very regional, and that is obviously a dish you would mostly find in coastal Italian towns where the seafood is fresh.

Yes, Collichio's blog was particularly interesting this week.

Well, the classic mussels dish is moules marinières, which is French, but it obviously exists in various forms and I didn't think it was odd for her to make it.

Mostly, I just think there have been a lot of sour grapes toward the winners of late.
