I just saw a commercial during football last night.
Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
RuPaul's Drag Race starts up again tonight.
I don't know if I can hang with Survivor with Russell on for yet another season. I felt like putting my fist through the tv every time he popped up on my screen during All Stars, but at least that season I had Sandra and Cirie and some other folks I liked to keep me sane. And while I actually don't mind Boston Rob on Survivor (Hated him on TAR), I really need for him to go somewhere and sit down and raise babies with Amber. Enough already with the reality TV stints. I'll probably watch the first episode and see if some of these new folks grab me, but unless there's a Yul or a Tom in the mix, I'll be out fairly quickly.
No new Top Chef tonight. Bummer.
Really? Hmmm, wonder why not.
I am so sad about it.
Except that it will give me a chance to catch up on my other stories! The mister is out of town and bookclub was canceled so saved eps of RuPaul's Drag Race and the Fashion Show here I come!
I was all pumped for Idol and Top Chef, but no. Bravo let me down.
Can't wait to see what you think of The Fashion Show finale, lisah. I was pleasantly surprised, although the whole thing still feels like a cheap quickie rip-off of Project Runway. I do love me some Isaac, though.
Yes, but it has Iman. Which makes up for it, IMHO.
RuPaul's Drag Race
I'm not the only one who watches, yay! Sutan is on this year, who I recognized from being a makeup artist on ANTM. And he's my early favorite. Wait till you see his runway walk - he can stomp with the best, no surprise. Wonder if Miss Jay taught him how.
Is Sutan = Raja? If so, love her! She was terrific on the runway.
