I think what I'm not getting about The Fashion Show is how it's going to work when it gets down to three, or ever four, designers. The competition is going to be pretty fiercely individual at that stage, but they keep talking about the houses and the "ultimate collection."
The houses are going to change as people get eliminated, especially if one house keeps losing designers.
Yeah, it seems at some point they are going to have to let go of the house aspect. But it does add an interesting dynamic to the competition right now.
meara, I think MMaS is caput, which is a shame because I agree that it was in all ways superior to ANTM - better models, better challenges, better judges. And lots of those kids work. I miss that show.
As I recall, as the season progresses, they do some change ups.

I see Shannon from the second season all the time! And I think I've seen Ronnie, too.
How quickly they went to moving contestants between houses makes me think they have plans for when there ar fewer designers that I will be fine with.
It's starting in a minute or two here, brenda.
That was a more competitive leg than I expected.
Also, possibly the first U-turn leg with noone getting on their high horse about how "unethical" it is to use it. That's a win in my book!
I agree, brenda! On both counts.
For Pioneer Woman fans, her Thanksgiving throwdown against Bobby Flay is rerunning tonight at 11 p.m. EST on Food Network.
Thank goodness, the team I wanted eliminated got cut!
I hope nobody gets the trots from the raw cane juice! Running the sugar cane juicer was from the producers' bag of Technically It's A Task tasks.
Challenging enough tasks otherwise, and some good use of the strategic U Turns! And Vicki went up ten points in my estimation for insisting that her team should skip using it. (She wouldn't have lost ten points from me if she'd chosen to use it, but I respect when somebody takes a stand for moral reasons.)
(Unfortunately it looks like Nick may lose about another 100 points next week for more asshattery.)
"I'm not going to be much of a team member if I pass out" should have been the title of the episode. The quarrelling between the QVCs didn't ping my interpersonal conflict buttons, maybe because it's the exact sort of thing I'd be saying on either side of the team in that situation.
On the other hand, the team that was cut -- there was an edge to the nastiness spilling out. Seriously, I hope that guy never coaches anyone for reals, because it seems like he only knows how to cut someone down -- or maybe that's the editing.
