The judges going from "Gretchen, this doesn't look like you, what happened?" to complaining that April didn't surprise them seems kind of odd. Not that they are wrong, exactly, but it's peculiar.

And as much as I love April, seeing Christian made me remember that he wasn't that much older than she was during his season. And when you think of what he produced then, and has produced since, her youth doesn't seem like such a good excuse for being stuck anymore.
