When he was able to calm himself down and look after her, that was good. I think he does care for her. But I agree that`s like a lot of abusers and of course does not ameliorate the damage he`d already done.

megan, that one is my favorite of the batch! Love all the townspeople we meet--the dad whose kids get him involved in the choir is terrific, and the housewife who finds out that she's a leader through her involvement is made of win.
