Anyone else watching ANTM? Last week was the makeover with a - SURPRISE! - rejection right afterwards. And the girl who cried all through her haircut and didn't carry off her new look well enough was sent home.
Then they had the girls being "fallen angels" - hanging from a bar in a harness with black costumes and wings ... Tyra's cracked up, right? Not as bad as when she had the girls being "hapa" - weird mash-ups of ethnicities (TWOP referred to it as having the girls in blackface), but she's OTT.
We actually watched the whole Chopped Champions season, and the finale was tonight. I cried! It was actually really good, if slightly manipulative of the tears at the end. I was so surprised! It's always been one of those shows we just watch out of habit more than real interest.

And then the girl whose eyebrows she had DYED WHITE to go with her dark brown hair! CRAZY!!!!

Okay, srsly, why did they do that to that girl? The dark hair was okay, but bleaching her brows made her look weird.
PR tonight has absolutely positively wrecked me.

Yeah, that was a good one. It confused me, though, because the ads I saw this week were really for next week, with
the cheating accusations,
etc.
Mondo's print was fantastic. And I loved Andy's, too, although not the garment.
I love Valerie,
but despite being a sweetheart, she really needed to go. She's been going downhill since the start, and everything she's made recently seems like home ec/craft project stuff

And Gretchen still always finds a way to make it all about her. That is her true talent.

I liked Valerie's print while she was creating it, but you could barely see it in the finished dress. it was the fit on the top that killed it for me. I didn't catch that it was so similar to her nakin dress until they put up the side by side pictures.
Gretchen makes me so incredibly weary. BLECH. I did like her print, though. But she really wasted it.
