I think this is going to be an interesting Survivor season. It was great to watch Shannon dig his own grave at tribal. Also, Kelly, WTF? I mean, WT effing F? Shoe stealing and then confession?

Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own

Was that Kelly or Holly? I can never keep track of the names this early in the season.
Whoever she is, she needs to tone down the crazy if she wants to stay around.
(But also - who brings $1600 shoes to Survivor??? Even if Holly/Kelly hadn't taken them, they still wouldn't have made it to the end of the game.)
Disappearing shoes and socks are complete WTF.
I missed the first episode but caught the one last night. Is the elder tribe getting a "handicap" on every challange? Seriously?

No, the Medallion of Power is a new twist this season. It gives the tribe who uses it an advantage in the challenge, but whoever uses it then has to give it to the other tribe.
The younger tribe found it in the first ep but was then given the opportunity to trade it for fishing gear, which they did, so the older tribe had it to use in this challenge if they wanted to.
Oh yeah, it was Holly. Sorry. I am interested in the art student, I think it's Alina, who seems to be a good player in what I've seen of her.
A website I saw (don't remember which) refers to the two teams as the Fogies and the Fetuses, which is hilariously perfect.
Okay, so apparently Tim Gunn dishes HARD about his conflicts with the PR producers.
Wow. That sounds like an incredible clusterfuck.
See, now, having heard how the challenge was described to the designers? I am even MORE a fan of Andy's look. In a way, they might as well have been designing for Michelle Obama, who favors similar clean looks but in a modern context. And who, lest you think Andy's outfit is still too far out, wore this just last month.
Wow, that is fascinating! PR producers, why have you not learned to listen to Tim Gunn? He's right there.
At least they didn't do the period piece biopic thing. What a yawn that would have been.
I think it's really funny how they insisted he not use Onassis, since it's when she was Jackie O that she seemed much more classic Am sportswear to me (than in the the early 60s).
Yeah, I really don't get the reasoning on that.
