Oh, I forgot to say this earlier re: the top chef finale. As I recall, the first course was supposed to be vegetarian, so why the fuck did Angelo use pork belly and Ed used cockles? And why was that okay?
I think it was supposed to be "a vegetable course" not necessarily a vegetarian one. Angelo did get dinged for not making vegetables the focus, IIRC.

Well, they did both lose, so maybe it wasn't OK.
Just saw Survivor. The first couple of episodes each season are never my favorites, as I don't know anybody, but I like the Old vs Young angle, as it keeps the "vote the old people out first" mentality from playing a part.

OK, I am crossing my fingers this all makes sense in an hour and a half...:) I can't believe I'm going to keep watching this dang show, after all the suckage.
