Wash: Well, I wash my hands of it. It's a hopeless case. I'll read a nice poem at the funeral. Something with imagery. Zoe: You could lock the door and keep the power-hungry maniac at bay. Wash: Oh, no, I'm starting to like this poetry idea now. Here lies my beloved Zoe, my autumn flower, somewhat less attractive now she's all corpsified and gross...

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Tiffany's attitude towards the show/other cheftestants reminds me a little of Carla a couple of seasons ago, though she seems a lot more grounded and a more consistent (and talented) cook.

Art Crawl!!!

Yes, she reminds me of Carla too - and I agree she does seem like a more consistent and talented chef. I am hoping for a finale between Tiffany and Ed and I don't care who else is there.

I think that Angelo is odd and awful - but generally a good chef and Kelly and Kevin both seem very inconsistent.

Art Crawl!!!

Was is Ed or Kevin who said that eccentric people make eccentric food? (That was kind of funny - but I despite Angelo's eccentricities - I don't think his food is that eccentric.)

Because books.

Tiffany doesn't remind me of Carla at all! Except in being good-natured, maybe.

Kelly strikes me a giant whiner.

Art Crawl!!!

Well, I think - good natured and grounded. That's how she reminds me of Carla.

Yeah, Kelly is never happy and never quite hits the mark either.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Finale location!

Don't they usually bring 4 chefs to the finale and then do 2 sets of challenges there? There's usually 3 in the finale. So next week, they eliminate 1, 4 folks travel to Secret!Finale! Location! and then they have an ep there, someone else gets eliminated, then the final finale with 3 folks.

There's five left now, right? Angelo, Tiffany, Ed, Kelly, and Kevin.

Exactly. But Tiffany's more grounded (no talk about "food made with love").

"We have trust issues." Mylar

I love Tiffany so much. I will be sad if she doesn't win. Ed is my second favorite, although he sometimes falls into the mean kids behavior wrt Angelo. I feel kind of badly for Angelo. Yes, he's arrogant and kind of an ass, but he also seems like a talented chef and he'll pitch in and put in work without too much of a fuss when necessary. Kevin is the one that really chaps my ass. Loud, pushy, kind of a bully and seemingly not all that as a chef. Kelly's just kind of there. I'd rather see Angelo in the finale with Tiffany and Ed than either of those two.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Can I recommend Plain Jane? it's actually sweet - it's a makeover show, but the girls end up looking like themselves, not some Barbie-fied version. They always get a challenge, that has them facing their greatest fears (snails? really?). The host is dramatically wacky, but supportive.
