I thought it was nicer than LIES. Seriously, she needs to know that her people are lying to patrons.
Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
Vortex, good luck - I know it's disappointing when someone disappoints you and then lies about it. Perhaps you could point out that this is setting the, um, TIN standard for service.
New York Magazine piece on Michael Kors. I love him even more now. He sounds like so much fun. And he has an adorable boyfriend!
Did anyone watch HGTV's Next Design Star?
yes. I was not surprised by the outcome. Were you?
Nope! I thought the guy did much better in his on-air thing last night than ever before, but Emily was the clear winner. Her show looks cute, too, but I liked her title for it -- Style to Lifestyle -- better than Secrets From a Stylist.
I don't think either Kim Myles's show or Jennifer Bertrand's is still in production, though.
Did I hear right that Emily is only getting a one off televised special, but her show will be web only? Because that seems wrong somehow.
I am trying to like Antonio's show, but it just hasn't grabbed me. He seems like a sweet guy, but I just don't care for his work all that much.
Is that right, Kat? I wasn't paying attention. Huh.
I LOVE Antonio, but he was my favorite that whole season, and I enjoy his crew and the dog and all that. I do like his work, though, especially for funkier public spaces.
Top Chef: Oh, THANK GOD.
I still kinda hate everyone though. Except maybe Tiffany and Ed.
EXACTLY what Nora said.
