"We have trust issues." Mylar

Benji and Donyelle still have my favorite Viennese Waltz ever on the show. That was back in the day when they actually made these kids throw a little ballroom up in their ballroom. Contrast that with whatever Anya and Robert did this evening.

And it's not like Anya can't do a proper Viennese Waltz. She was lovely in this piece with Danny, and while it did have some contemporary elements, there was much more work in hold which she executed quite well.

Bleagh. I just did not enjoy that dance with Robert tonight and can't understand why the judges were creaming themselves over it.

Now that's Viennese Waltz done right on SYTYCD, dammit. Sigh. I miss Danny so, so much.

information libertarian

Kent could dance on Broadway with Kristin Chenoweth! They would be pocket-sized together!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

The judging was totally wackadoo -- when Nigel complimented Robert's lift and they showed a replay? It looked like shit! I mean, right? I just don't care any more. I wish there were some way to vote for Alex to win anyway.

Although how that dance for two "friends" was different from any other "lovers torn apart as interpreted through the powers of dance" piece is beyond me.

Yeah, it was just in the closet.

BB: Am I crazy, or is a showmance supposed to be a mostly-fake romance for stragetic purposes, not Tru Luv?? I feel that Dr Will would be disappointed in the use of the word.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Seriously. Those Bachelor type shows would sell their grandmothers to have this "success" rate.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

I'm flipping between SYTYCD & PR and saw that Lauren made it into the finale!

Who else made it to the finale?

I've liked Abdi from the beginning, and he really has progressed. His piece tonight was stunning. I had hoped that Nicole would make it. I liked her and thought that she was really talented. I am vaguely annoyed with the judges. If Miles had done that piece, they would have creamed all over it. She also got robbed of a couple of wins during the season. I want Abdi to go all the way. He's incredibly talented and a good person.

I agree with all of this, except I didn't like Nicole's piece at all. I can't believe Peregrine didn't go home, but thank god that Jaclyn did.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I didn't love Nicole's piece, but I'd hoped that her other very strong work would get her into the finale, especially because I thought that Peregrine's piece was weak.
