I know it is one of the standards in the ballet canon, but I've never seen it and (since I'm currently reading it) I had to wonder how the hell you make a ballet out of Don Quixote.
Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
Enrique Iglesias is nothing without his mole.
That's what it is! I couldn't figure out why he looked so generic.
So, an indication of how little I'm loving this season of Top Chef is that I really didn't give a crap about clearing it off the TiVo. Sigh. I hate this reality show bullshit.
Also, the previews from next week make it seem like my hatred for Alex will grow. Pea puree! The words have lost all meaning.
I went back and rewatched what Nigel was saying about the tour, because I was curious.
It sounds like
a) No Mark. BOO
b) Only Katherine and Russell from last season. No Legacy, Jakob, Eleanor? Odd.
Perkins, I read elsewhere that Jakob for sure has another job lined up and Legacy may as well.
Isn't Legacy in LXD?
Just watched Work of Art On Demand.
Sigh - they had the opportunity to get rid of Jaclyn and they kept her.
Oh well, I know - Ryan just hadn't been performing and both Abdi and Jaclyn had produced well in the past. Her time will come.
Very happy that Nichole and Peregine were in the top.
Sumi, my thoughts exactly.
I like Nicole a lot, as well as Abdi, even if he didn't quite let go this week the way he could have. I thought what Nicole did was really interesting, and Peregrine's was outrageous. So cool.
Ryan totally missed the mark with this challenge, although I thought Miles did, too.
how the hell you make a ballet out of Don Quixote
It's Don Quixote or Kitri's Wedding - one segment of the book made into a ballet.
