Oh, on the Achilles tendon tip, my aunt ruptured hers not doing anything in particular -- she was a gym teacher, but I don't think she was doing anything crazy at the time. Just a piece of anecdata.
Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own

OMG! Anya & Pasha! Wow!!!
In anecdata, my dad ruptured his achilles tendon playing volleyball at a church picnic. He said it didn't hurt at all, he just extended, heard it pop, and couldn't stand up. Fortunately for him, one of the guys on the team was an orthopedic surgeon who whisked him away and patched him up. He was healed nicely, but it took a long time.
quester,
I know, right? I feel like they just schooled some people on how.it.is.done.
For real.
I am not at all happy with this bottom three. Ugh. If Alex can still compete, they're going to have to get rid of Ashley, right?
You would think.
But honestly, I really doubt Alex can continue.
Well, I hope they announce that tonight, then. Ugh. I hate that so much!!
I also thought it was weird that the winner was chosen from the bottom three teams.
Actually, Padma said it was the best dish of the day. And since she announced the three teams in the stew room, I assume that if they had had a better dish, a lunch or breakfast team could have won.
Well, I liked Miles' piece. I also liked Nichole's piece. I was happy that Jaimie went - she seemed out of her depth and much as I dislike her Jaclyn is managing to pull it off. Now, if they manage to construct a challenge where her piece couldn't possibly be about her own image or others' reactions to her image then she could be in trouble.
I agree with all of this.
Sad.
