It's like some monstrous melted Laura Ashley Christmas dress from 1990.
Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
I thought that Judith (wire lady) should have gone home - because she really no game with her thing. At least the woman who did the display had some sort of concept -even if it didn't work.
I was surprised that they sent Truang (sp?) home.
Really wanted Nichole to win - loved her piece.
I thought that Miles' tiredness was more about him shutting down than being actually tired. . .but of course, he was also tired.
Last week's challenge was a classic art school thing. I admit that once I got through the required 3-D design class I never went near anything sculpture like again: was this week's challenge a classic in found object type sculpture classes?
I think this show is going to be a roller coaster ride in terms of the week-to-week medium changes. It's going to be a blast.
I wanted to watch the Art show but it conflicted with something else and the rerun was on too late for me. I'll catch up on line. I think it is an interesting experiment.
Phooey. Severe weather here meant that I missed the opening group number (of SYTYCD, that is) because of storm coverage. What did they do, and was it worth watching?
Jean,
I can't answer the first question, I did not like the opening dance.
The song was Acapella but I can't remember who the singer was. It was bright and there was a lot of jumping around. Not very conceptual. I think Tyce choreographed it.
I like the opening number!
Man, I hope Christina? the salsa girl, survives!
I almost always like the group numbers, just because I like to see them all dancing without the pressure of being judged. Actually, the opening number is often the only part of the results show I like. Stupid tornadoes.
I saw this pair on the Tony's. She seems like too much woman for him!
