I can think of only two reasons the judges were as harsh as they were:
a) they are trying to get her fans out to vote for her in droves
b) they really are trying to get her out soon
I think "b" is unlikely because I don't think they want all men final 3 or 4, but maybe Crystal ain't getting the votes and they've determined that she probably won't win anyway. I've expected her to leave around 4th or 3rd.
I really like Kris Allen's Ford commercials. But I can barely stand the show any more.
BTW, Kris Allen isn't doing too badly. He is 11th of Idol contestants:

On ANTM, I can't believe they kept Jessica around only to get rid of her tonight. She was just as boring and girl next door last week. I feel I've been robbed of a week's worth of Alasia. So, watching Gaga on AI last night, I was looking and looking for SYTYCD Mark. Was the guy with the goatee who danced directly with Gaga in the late-middle section him? I find it so hard when they are all dressed alike and moving around the the camera is panning all over!

The Gaga dance had 8-10 very fit male dancers wearing only skintight black shorts. (Okay, also Gaga wore a black mesh veil which she tossed around some, a blonde wig, a black hat, and a lace body stocking, and at once point writhed on the floor. On the other hand: MARK with HOT GOATEE.)
