I agree - I wanted to see the rest of Jay's collection, not Mila's.
Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
Jessica is no prettier than your average mall queen.
She's like the epitome of girlfriend cute.
And Raina reminds me so much of Denise Richards that I just can't get over it,
I mean, seriously!
On to PR: I actually feel bad for Emilio now.
And just in case anyone isn't aware -- they are doing the reunion on Models of the Runway, with designers and models.
That vertical-striped black-and-white dress of Seth Aaron's was only the second outfit from a finale runway show in the entire history of PR to make me think, "I must have that for my very own!!" (The first was Jay's long quilted coat.) When I lose my weight after my surgery, a dress like that will be first on my request for my sister to make for me.
Wow, this is a real bitch session!
Wow, this is a real bitch session!
Yeah, and Jay crossed the line from catty to unforgivably mean. I mean, wow.
Totally!
I kind of look at Jay and Maya together, on this (although I know jay is older), and I think a few things become clear. Maya's articulated, in interview after interview, that there's a cost that comes with winning this thing, and she wasn't ready to pay it, even if she had a shot at it. That takes a certain level of maturity to understand, but it's something that -- as both an artist and a sometimes teacher -- I understand keenly. too much success too early can doom you in the long run. It can lock you into a place where you will stagnate and die creatively. I've seen it a million times. So Maya has my immense admiration.
But Jay? Jay's immaturity is staggering, and his lashing out at Cerri shows how NOT ready he is to play on a higher level. He just can't handle it. So seriously unimpressed.

That's the one I want, too, Kathy.
I'm just afraid he's somehow my cousin -- I have Lefebvres in my family.
I wouldn't worry, it's one of the most common names there is: [link]
Related or not, I didn't like him the first time and he certainly hasn't improved. Although I love that somehow it's okay for him to say merde without being bleeped.
Yet, I'm still not really loving the whole Masters concept.
PR: I thought all the collections were great. Everybody really stepped it up from where they were at Tim's visit. And everybody had at least one piece I wanted. But I was thrilled with the winner.
