I'm glad you kept track of that. How strange.

Man, watching Jonathan Waxman on Top Chef makes me wish I had eaten at Barbuto more. I think I went there once -- a friend lived basically across the street for a while.
And from that article:
But what you won't see are the more discerning criticisms, best left to the pros: Dufresne shouldn't have removed the casings from his sausage because it dried out the meat, Moonen should have sliced his chips thinner so they‘d be less unwieldy. And Rayner and Greene really took Bowles to task for his obvious disdain for kidneys, masking their presence with other flavors.
I'm pretty sure we saw all of that in the episode.
I agree, Jesse. And Bowles calling Waxman "Chef Kenobi" was awesome. I really like Waxman.
I'm watching Hoarders for the first time, and OMG. I can't even *watch* this, it freaks me out so much.
yes. I'm not sure which episode you are watching, but if you get to the one where the woman used adult diapers for 6 months (actually maybe 3 years?) because she couldn't get to the toilet...
prepare yourself.
::shudders:: Wow. That's just horrifying.
This is a woman with a husband and three sons, one of whom was injured in a car accident. Her family is at the breaking point and I don't blame them.
There was a woman here in Chicago a few weeks ago, about my age, who died in a fire because her studio apartment was so crammed she couldn't find the exit.
Hey, the Amazon "Deal of the Day" is BBC's Planet Earth on dvd or bluray. (Must be AMAZING on bluray.)
TCM: I think that Ludo should never be on this show again.
