Hm, not nearly as often as I'd remembered. Maybe the decoy collections are confusing me.
Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
I didn't love everything about Emilio's, but I think it was head and shoulders above the rest. Both Seth Aaron and Mila had great elements, but they both had some really distracting misteps - e.g., the pink and yellow behind Mila's jacket were not nice colors. What's his name #4 should not have been in, I don't think.
There wasn't some sort of design-off the season Jeffrey won?
I feel like there was more than one, but I can't (obviously) remember.
There wasn't some sort of design-off the season Jeffrey won?
I think that was the season when they had four designers, aka Uli comes from behind to wow the judges.
What is wrong with judges on AI? They're praising Tim? Okay, yeah, he actually changed it up a little, but he's still a crap singer. I didn't like his song anymore than I liked Andrew's! Which sucked.
Gah. Must remember to vote for Crystal before I go to bed.
I just want Adam to do my eye makeup sometime.
Oh, and watch Ryan's face again when he realizes he said Adam's tongue is more talented than his.
I thought he said Adam's tongue was farther out than his. Hee.
Chris and Ravi
The second best OTP after Tim and Andre.
Dear heavens, too much TV tonight. First off, I'm not a DwtS fan, but Travis choreographed a piece on the show tonight that was fire and featured Danny prominently partnering one of the principal dancers from NYC Ballet and Travis also danced his ass off and looked good going and oh my! It was all LXD fantastic and if you didn't see it, you should definitely check it out. Fire!
AI: I only really loved Crystal, but that's as always. Big Mike sounded amazing and picked the perfect song and I just can't like him. Cheesy bastard. Siobahn kinda bored me for the first time ever. I didn't like anything after the break into the slower tempo, unlike the judges, and I wish she'd taken Adam's advice and kept it all up tempo. The judges need to get off Lee's jock. It's OK to just forget almost all of the words now? Of course it sounded like a new song, Ellen. It was. The voice was fine, but that bugged. Nobody else made an impression. The Katie-bot was back in full effect with the flat affect and the pageant girl tics. As usual, I already forgot what Aaron sang. Casey was supremly un-pimp slot worthy. And the thing I've been trying to sublimate. . . Dear lord, I actually kind of liked Tim tonight. He sounded kinda good and I liked the arrangement. I was even glad he didn't take Glambert's advice to keep the end in the head voice. Adam could pull that off, but Tim is no Adam, and he was smart enough to know it. Andrew = Danny Gokey babies. Now and forever. I think Andrew and one of the Tweens for the boot, maybe?
And even though we don't talk about this show here, dudes, Glee! I know. Take it to comedy, but seriously, y'all, Glee!
SYTYCD:
It seems I forgot to Tweet an all-Star name yesterday? Sorry! One of our best Latin Ballroom partners ever on #SYTYCD ANYA is returning."
Not a surprise with Pasha already on the list. I don't think I've seen Nigel give a number of all-Stars, but if it's 10 then we're getting near the end.
