I didn't think Jonathan's print was all that bad, but the disco straight jacket was pure unadulterated AWFUL.

Why on earth didn't Mila just cut a quick slit up the side of her dress after the fitting so her model could walk? Just cut alongside one of the vertical stripes and hem it while the model was in hair & makeup.
True, but it was still awful. Mexican serape gay flag wasn't far off. But it mostly looked like she had a Scarlett moment and made a dress out of an L.L. Bean Hudson Bay blanket.
The thing about Mila's dress, she didn't seem to see that there was a problem, when she was fitting or even on the runway - she said something about the model hiking up the dress like the model was the problem. Could be editing, of course, but still. Not putting in a slit or shortening the skirt or *something* after the fitting tells me she just didn't see the problem. She had her vision and that was that.
The model couldn't walk in it very well when she tried it on in the workroom. Mila saw that and did nothing.
I read Tim Gunn's and he was mystified about why the judges liked Emilio's and he thought Maya should have won.
also he was glad Jonathon stood up for himself. Not to mention being preplexed by Mila's dress.
Personally I don't think Mila really *saw* that her model was having a problem. At least from the editing it looked like she was so enamored by her creation she couldn't see the flaws.
It bugged me that Mila called him "TG," too. Don't disrespect Tim Gunn, dude!
I couldn't believe that she called him that!
Also, I think that the judges were enamoured at the licensing possibilities of Emilio's pattern.

Just like Tim, it looked like a collaboration fabric with him and Seth Aaron. Maybe just because Seth Aaron like to put his initials on things, but that's what I saw when I looked at it.

There was a clusterfuck of teams screwing up one challenge, and then the cowboys screwed up another thing (in bathing suits!), but in the end, it was non-elimination.
Dad-daughter won the leg.
