Oh, not at all. In fact, I really loved the winners, even if the nighttime look could have been a long gown, imo.

I really liked all of the top 4 looks, and having a cohesive look really put the winners over the top. And everything the judges had to say about the bottom four was right on.

Absolutely. And you're right -- the top two teams definitely had looks that related to each other beautifully.

I'm very psyched to hear Michael Kors say "disco straightjacket" next week, too.

I thought that the Mila's look was not very evening at all. It was a good look but far too casual. I don't know if they were trying to make a statement about the east village with the casualness of the outfit or what.

I continue to love Anthony beyond reason. His comment about the ducks was priceless! I also like that he is really learning and growing.

I liked Emilio's dress, but it needed some quality time with the steamer. I was surprised by how well they worked together. I thought that two really strong personalites such as they have would have clashed, but they made it work.

I thought that Jay should have gone home. I didn't hear the dreaded "poor construction", but "ill fitting" and "unflattering" were thrown around a lot. Those pants weren't cool, they were atrocious. No woman wants to wear peplums on her thighs.

I didn't love Amy's "upper east side" look. It didn't really fit the challenge, which is probably what sealed the deal. It was also way too casual of a look. If she had made it a dress and accessorized it with cute heels and a good bag, she might have gotten away with it.

Yeah, I think so. Guest judge even tried to make the imperfections of Jay's outfit a stylistic choice. That could be what saved him!

We didn't see them ask Amy and Jonathan how they worked together, did we? I liked Jay's answer.

Perhaps what ultimately saved Jay was that if the outfit had been made well, they would have liked it; whereas Amy's outfit was made well (or at least not badly) and they didn't like it. Also, I think that choosing upper east side was dangerous, because that's probably where the judges live, so they have a very particular idea of what's appropriate for their neighborhood.

I loved this challenge. I thought Chinatown as a neighborhood choice was a little odd, just because it doesn't have a distinct fashion when the three others really do; however, it was probably the easiest neighborhood to tour and get a sense of in 30 minutes. I'm glad they did well. I do love that bit with Maya dissing Anthony's fabric and then Tim asking why they weren't using it.

As a former resident of the East Village, I think Mila's outfit was dead on as a higher end EV look. The EV is all about black grunge so, for me, Jay's day look was a bit too colorful. I would have loved to see what Seth Aaron would have done.

That said, his Harlem look was fab. It was nice too see such a functional, successful partnership.

I have no words for the train wreck that was both of the UES looks. I think they had the hardest task because of the size of the neighborhood and it's relative emptiness (you just don't see a lot of people in that neighborhood most of the time, and it's boring compared to the others), but what they produced didn't make sense to me at all.
