Maya had the best complete look, I think. She's been in the top 3 a few times, now.
Ulli with the prints is who Mila sort of reminds me of. When she finally made a different dress that was still a print and summery-beachy-flowy but didn't look like every other dress she had made up until then, that was cool. I'm not sure if we're to the point where Mila has to do something different, yet, there are a bunch of designers that I really don't know what their point-of-view is at this point. But it wouldn't hurt for her to mix it up.
Most of the people who were pissing me off are gone now, too. So at least there should be interesting clothes to look at.
Is anyone still watching Models? Is there any interesting drama over there? I quit because watching it was like watching a documentary in gender fail. Like how the models were all nearly powerless and yet were judged by the designers based on those criteria out of their control, and so how they all devolved into attempts at social manipulation as the only way to affect their fate. I can only think that the addition of specific judging by the panel for them this season makes it worse, but I don't know because I can't bring myself to watch it.
I half watched the last one.
Alexis
got booted, which may mean I stop watching. She was getting the superbitch editng, because she was actually trying to have a strategy.
I thought that was ridiculous -- why did she need a strategy wrt the other girls?
I don't know, but something about the editing really bugged me. Just seemed like they were punishing her for trying to influence her own life.
Or it could be she really was a superbitch. Dunno.
I see what you mean, but I err on the side of superbitch. She would say really mean things for no apparent reason that I could see.
I don't think she was actually a superbitch, but I think she was playing that reality-tv role on purpose. Which I think was weird and pointless.
She would say really mean things for no apparent reason that I could see.
It was the no apparent reason that got to me--we never saw anything of what prompted her comments, which says editing choices to me.
oh, I see what you mean. Hmm. If they did this to other people, then I could believe it, but if she is the only one saying mean shit for no reason...maybe there is something to it?
Definitely could be, yes.
