We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I thought it was a straight ripoff of the Balenciaga that they saw at the museum.

I'll give you ripoff, but Nina flat out said it was ugly.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I really did not see anything so horrible about the dress. And I appreciated Anthony asking what they would have done, because he couldn't see anything wrong with the dress. And they they were assholes about it "we can't tell you what to do, you have to have your own design aesthetic"

I agree with all of that.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I really liked Anthony's dress. I would have thought boring would have been worse for thid particular challenge, and there was plenty of boring to choose from.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I agree. I liked Anthony`s dress. It may have been too closely derivative but I thought it was lovely. I have oogy feelings about Ping`s departure because I really feel that a lot of her problems were communication/cultural. But in the end I agree that her dress was the worst.

Is anyone watching Models of the Runway? I`m trying not to get sucked in, but I`d be curious what they said about Ping`s model piping up during judgung.

Oh, the other thing I was going to say is that I think in fashion, like in music, it`s hard not to be too derivative. Which is why I liked Mila`s outfit so much. I felt like we`ve finally got another designer with a real point of view.

Because books.

I thought Anthony's dress was kind of stunning when the model walked out. I mean, yellow and black is a little bumblebee for me, but I didn't really get costume from it at all.

And I agree about Mila's outfit -- the jacket was wild, and it's so new-looking.

Basically that she's young and stupid and Will Learn. I think the upshot is, she lucked out with Ping getting eliminated, because what's his name picked her again because she was 'so loyal' to him.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I agree with all of this. I honestly didn't think it was that bad on the runway (certainly not worse than some of the yawn-fests in the middle of the pack), but as soon as Heidi asked the model to take the drapery off, I saw exactly what they meant. I mean, it was a corset top with some fabric pinned to the butt.

I also loved Mila's look. I don't know that I would wear it, but if I saw someone else in it I would think "Wow, that person has great taste in clothes."
